MORE ABOUT THE SELLER
Hello again, fellow collector.
My journey with Pokémon cards started all the way back in elementary school. I was already hooked on Dragon Ball Carddass from the vending machines at our neighborhood mom-and-pop toy store. When Pokémon came along, it instantly became part of the mix, and that spark has never faded.
Growing up in Japan, gaming was a huge part of life. I spent countless hours on the original Famicom playing early Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy titles — games I still follow and appreciate to this day. That same passion carried over into collecting: cards, figures, art books, and more. Along the way, I also built collections of Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece cards, and even a fun set of Mini Samurai Gundam models.
Through all those years, one card has always stood out as my absolute favorite: the #038 Base Set Japanese Ninetales Holo. As a kid, I carried it with me everywhere like a lucky charm. It was the very first holo I ever owned, and it still blows my mind that it has that beautiful Poké Ball holo mark in the illustration box. Even today, it’s still with me — beautifully worn from years of love. I’m debating sending it off for grading one day, not for the numerical grade, but just to preserve that special piece of my childhood.
These days, I’m passionately going through my own collection and offering carefully curated TAG-graded Japanese Pokémon cards here at G'z Fort. I focus on the things I’ve always loved most: the breathtaking original Japanese artwork, rarity, lower print runs, and that deep nostalgic feeling these cards bring.
Some of my favorite illustrations include the infamous 1998 Misty’s Tears (the controversial classic with the original uncensored artwork), the stunning Greninja ex SR 083/066 from the Scarlet & Violet – Crimson Haze set, and timeless characters like Ditto, Mimikyu, and Rayquaza.
Thank you for taking the time to read a bit more about me and my collection. Whether you’re a longtime collector or just starting to explore Japanese Pokémon cards, I hope you find something here that brings back that same excitement.
Feel free to reach out through the Contact page if you’d like to talk cards, grades, holo marks, or share your own favorites.
Happy collecting!
